The Wildhearts

The Wildhearts are possibly the best rock band to have ever come out of Britan! Their mix of hard rock and melodic pop music has earned them a large following since they formed nearly 20 years ago.

Since their formation in late 1989, and in spite of having numerous top 20 singles and an album in the top 10, The Wildhearts have never achieved major commercial success, due in no small part to the  numerous break ups, a constantly changing line up, feuds with record companies and over indulgence in the rock and roll life style, The Wildhearts have a history of being chaotic and unpredictable. But yet, 20 years later they're still churning out the type of fresh toe tapping, head banging feel good rock tracks that their loyal fans have become accustomed to.

"I'm fucking sick of going to see bands and being bored. I
want to be blown away... It's not enough to be another
boring group. It's not enough, if you want to do anything."
(Ginger, Scuzz fanzine, 1993)
